If you’re like a lot of people I talk to, you’re probably always on the lookout for good information and resources that can help you ahead of the curve and get to the point faster.
I’m the same way. In fact, my computer bookmarks are just loaded with useful sites. Some weeks back I was telling someone about my bookmarks, and she said I should share them with other entrepreneurs . It sounded like a good idea in theory.
However, I have literally dozens – probably hundreds – of resources bookmarked. And the truth is, not all of them are that great.
Some of them are outdated…
Some of them I only liked 1 line or even just 2 lines of the whole page…
Some I haven’t looked at in years…
So here’s what I did – I just spent the last week pouring through these bookmarks. I kicked out the outdated resources, the dead links and so on.
I set aside the average information. And when I was all done, I had four of the best business resources from around the web.
These are the best, the cream of the crop, so I know you’ll enjoy them too. Read on…
Resource 1: Canva – www.canva.com
What I really like about this resource is that it simple to use but it can elevate your content on social media, marketing materials, emails, just EVERYTHING, so much. Simply put, you won’t find an easier or better way to elevate your whole brand in a few clicks when you use Canva. You can accomplish so much in the free platform and get access to so much more in the paid version.
Resource 2: Dubsado – www.dubsado.com
If you have been apart of my ted talks, you know that Im a firm believer in having a CRM aka Client Management System. Something that stores client info, sends contracts, emails, and keeps track of projects, just all of it. Dubsado is something that I use for all of my not photography based businesses because it is EASY to use, I can bill out it, I can get contracts signed out it, I can do all of things.
Resource 3: Shootproof – www.shootproof.com
I really like Shootproof as my CRM for my photography based business. Here is why. I use to be a DIEHARD pixieset + honeybook person. BUT when you sit down and do the math on the fact you are pay for 2 different platforms because they don’t fit everything you need NEED them to do because you are just making do. When I started trialing Shootproof, I realized quickly, that it had everything that I needed out of honeybook and pixieset in one place EXCEPT one thing that really bites. Shootproof doesn’t have scheduling YET! So if you need scheduling in one place this might not be a right place for you!
Resource 4: Facebook Creator Studio – business.facebook.com/creatorstudio
Have you ever tried to schedule your content on Facebook and Instagram, but you just ended up finding yourself distracted instead? If so, then you’ll LOVE this resource. Simply put, it is a free resource from Facebook that allows you to come off the front page of Facebook to schedule the backend of your businesses and see all your analytic in one place!
These are my favorite resources that I use regularly to make my life easier within my business.
What are your resources that you use daily?
